Will Smith Rubbishes Divorce Reports

Always being given what I call the ‘Beyonce-Jay Z’ treatment, Will and Jada Pinkett are no stranger to divorce rumours.

RadarOnline reported a purported scoop yesterday, claiming “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum and the “Gotham” star were “exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union.” The site said the couple had reached a confidential divorce agreement to protect their $240-million fortune.

And Smith was forced to take to Facebook to debunk the rumours. The multi talented star said if he ever decided to divorce his ‘Queen’, he would be the first to let people know.

It is not easy being a celebrity couple.

The British- Nigerian singer and songwriter shot into limelight in 2010 after her accapella song titled ‘What About Us?’ was used at the Nigerian Youth Presidential debate in 2011. In 2015, she released a marriage-themed single title ‘Ari Belema’ which got her a nomination in the ‘Most Promising Act’ category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. The budding singer released her first official single in 2013 titled ‘Were niyen’ which was received to critical acclaim. On October 2, 2014, she released another song produced by Password titled ‘ Criminal ’ which did was another great sound. She cites Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Brandy and Aaliyah as her musical influences. In an interview granted to ThisDay Live on June 21, 2014, she said she was working on her debut studio album.
