Plenty of the Blancos' reported targets have been linked with a move to the capital for months, such as Manchester United No.1 David de Gea, whose flirtation with usurping Iker Casillas has been headline-grabbing stuff.

Others, such as Sergio Aguero, have been linked with a transfer to Madrid for years. Will 2015 be the year the Manchester City striker lines up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale?

But where will the former Valencia and Liverpool coach turn to for his own, unique input into the team? Reports indicated earlier this month that Arsenal and France centre-back Laurent Koscielny is at the top of his summer wishlist.

One man seemingly at the top of every major club's wishlist is Paul Pogba, a French central midfielder plying his trade at Italian champions Juventus. Or perhaps it will be Marco Verratti - an Italian central midfielder plying his trade at French champions Paris Saint-Germain that the recently deposed European champions will take a chance on.
