Ref : Pulseng Just this morning news came in that Manager of Skales, Osagie Osarenkhoe also known as This Metal Chic, has been accused of fraud by Baseline Records, home to Skales and Aramide. Osagie, currently managing Skales, has been accused by the record label of stealing the sum of N13,374,000 in the past 12 months. The record label has released a length petition addressed to the Inspector General of Police and right now Osagie is at the Police Station as they try to sort things out. The petition reads in part: “On the 11th of July, 2014 the company entered into an Artiste and Record Company Multiple Right Agreement (the “Contract”) between itself and Raoul Njeng Njeng (also known as Skales) for the provision by Skales of exclusive recording services to the Company for a period of 5 (five) years. Under the terms of the Contract, Skales assigned to the company all copyright and other rights or interests throughout the world in all sound recordings made by Skales prior to or dur

Adekunle Gold popularly known as, YBNL Toaster has revealed how he got connected to the YBNL Boss, Olamide. He revealed that his love for Tiwa Savage pushed him into making a photoshopped picture of himself and Tiwa Savage, which somehow created a link between himself and Olamide. The ‘Pick Up’ crooner, who hails from the royal Kosoko family of Lagos, recalled that his love for Tiwa Savage made him create a fake picture of himself hugging her from the back. He later uploaded it and seeing the reviews, he did the same for popular OAP Toolz and screen diva Tonto Dikeh. Adekunle Gold claimed he was only “business friends” with Olamide since he helped the label design the logo and help design most of Lil Kesh and Viktoh’s work after they joined the label. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has directed Douglas Jack-Agu aka “Runtown” from performing at any event or any form of recording for the time being unless with the approval of his record label, Ericmany Ltd. Ericmany presently holds the copyright to all his music. He was sued on allegations that he signs up, concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label. Ericmany was said to have invested millions of naira on Runtown. However trouble started when he, apparently with the connivance of Bug Media ran by one Bugwu Aneto, began to sideline Ericmany and collect money directly for shows without the knowledge of the label. Bug Media is also a party to the court case. Ericmany has also sacked Bugwu Aneto as the GM of the company, for infractions which might not be unconnected with his all

ES Plus embarked on a radio tour around Lagos to promote RAW (Respect A Woman) same song fans claim belongs to patoranking fews weeks ago, they stopped by Top Radio to have a quick chat with Wyse & Tara on the issue and also to promote the song. That’s not the only similarity … according to Casey, both songs feature keyboard synthesizers, samples, synth bass, drums, and percussion. Casey points out her track was a hit in its own right … racking up more than 800k streams, and Rolling Stone singled it out as a mag fav. Casey says she warned Bieber to stop using the sample last December but he ignored her. She wants Bieber to stop playing her tune … and she wants $$$$$.

We’re told Chris and Nia will continue to have joint legal and physical custody. Under the existing custody order, Chris gets 12 days a month with his daughter and it will continue to be unmonitored. Nia’s also gunning for more child support, although that wasn’t on the table. She’s getting $2,500 a month but wants it upped to nearly $16k a month. If Derek Fisher is paying his wife $109,000 AND $15,000 a month in child support PER child, then we wouldn’t be surprised if Nia got the amount of support she’s asking for. Only time will tell. Mavin’s queen, Tiwa Savage is making major career moves as reports have it that she is set to sign with Jay Z’s music label- Roc Nation. Tiwa, whose body of work and profile was scrutinised by the hiphop mogul is set to join the likes of Davido, who inked a recording deal with international record label, Sony BMG Muisc. Urban View reports that, ”According Roc Nation sources, JayZ, extremely impressed at Tiwa’s catalogue and profile, gave the go-ahead for the deal yesterday, put together by Roc Nation’s Briant Biggs and Shawn Pecas. Adekunle Gold is getting ready to follow Lil Kesh’s foot-step by leaving Olamide’s record label for his personal record label. Adekunle Gold’s contract with YBNL will expire in June 2016, this will mark the end of his 2-year contract which was signed in year 2014. The “Orente” singer will be leaving as soon as his contract ends in June and might also be floating his won label. “After his album drops in June, Kunle may leave YBNL to focus on his own label,” our sources confirmed. In April 2016, Lil Kesh announced his exits from YBNL to focus on his self-owned record label, “Y.A.G.I.” Viktoh also joined Kesh, now Adekunle Gold is ready to leave for his personal record label.

Mother of one, Ciara is not ready to let her ex-fiancé Future off the hook easily, and now she has won a major battle against him. New reports confirmed that the singer dragged the father of her child back to court for the sole purpose of thrashing his countersuit. According to Jasmine Brand, Ciara wants Future’s countersuit thrown out, she wants to be awarded $250,000 in attorney fees and she wants Future to make a retraction of all the defamatory tweets he made against her earlier this year.
