The man responsible for discovering Wiz Khalifa says the rapper owes his company more than $2 million and is suing to get it back. via TMZ : Rostrum Records — founded by Benjamin Grinberg — claims in a new lawsuit it had a deal with Wiz for a 15% cut of touring and music royalties when the rapper started back in 2005. The company says it’s also owed 20% of any merch sales. The company claims Wiz has earned a ton of money in touring, merchandise and music sales recently and Rostrum wants $2 mil to make things right. Wiz first sued Rostrum and Benjamin to get out of his contract, claiming they mismanaged him and entered into deals to line their own pockets.

Mavin Records, founded by producer Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy has signed a new management deal with a Lagos-based creative talent firm, ‘The Temple Management Company‘ (TMC). The deal was signed at the Victoria Island corporate office of the company on Monday June 27, 2016, between the CEO of TMC, Idris Olorunnimbe, and Mavin boss, Don Jazzy. His response to a recent tweet where he confirmed he’ll be in UK next year has since gone viral. In January 2016, Oritsefemi had earlier threatened to arrest Danku and his mother but it never happened. The news of his demise is coming just one month to his 50th birthday as a family source claims that his kidney transplant failed completely since last week. He was kept on daily dialysis before his urgent need for oxygen yesterday. Recall that the producer was down with kidney related disease, and was consequently flown to India for a transplant in 2013. On October 21, same year, the singer successfully underwent the surgery at the Indian hospital. Young money rapper, Lil Wayne reportedly suffered a seizure while flying and his private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Nebraska. Wayne was flying from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to California when the seizure struck — and we’re told he’d been blacked out when the pilot put the jet down Monday afternoon in Omaha. New reports confirm that the 25-year-old British singer has finally reached an out of court settlement with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Recall that last year, Rita slammed Roc Nation with a lawsuit because the label hadn’t been releasing her music and also refuse to release her from her contract. Meek Mill’s house arrest sentence got extended for eight more days all because he didn’t follow the judge’s orders. via TMZ : Sources connected to Meek’s camp tell us he got hit with an additional 8 days of house arrest to give him time to complete the right kind of community service, because he volunteered at all the wrong places. According to docs, the judge specified Meek needed to put in 90 days of work with the homeless, Habitat for Humanity or senior citizens and veterans. Meek’s camp says that was never specified, but we’ve seen it in black and white. We’re told Meek spent time visiting schools, helping out with Flint’s water crisis and delivering motivational speeches. Another problem — we’re told Meek only worked 6 days per week. He did put in hours at homeless shelters, but clearly not enough.
