Singer Ciara Takes Ex- Husband Future Back To Court.

Mother of one, Ciara is not ready to let her ex-fiancé Future off the hook easily, and now she has won a major battle against him.

New reports confirmed that the singer dragged the father of her child back to court for the sole purpose of thrashing his countersuit. According to Jasmine Brand, Ciara wants Future’s countersuit thrown out, she wants to be awarded $250,000 in attorney fees and she wants Future to make a retraction of all the defamatory tweets he made against her earlier this year.

Recall that weeks after Ciara slammed Future with a $15million lawsuit, accusing him of ruining her public image and damaging her career, he fired back, saying that he did not ruin her career as she did not have one to begin with. In his application, he added that the mother of his son has yet to win any major Awards recently and that she has no huge fan base. Also, he accused her of using their son and her fiancé Russell Wilson to generate publicity for herself.

However, Ciara denies this. She said issues involving their son should have been kept away from the media, but due to Future’s immature behaviour, and the negative comments, she had been forced to proceed with the lawsuit.

In court, the ‘I Bet’ singer said she is upset about his comments regarding her career, but she would let her recent achievements speak themselves. She shut down claims that she is mining her relationship with her fiancé Wilson and her son, and added that Future is only upset that she moved on after they broke up.

Although the court is yet to rule on Ciara’s demands for a $250k attorney fees and a retraction of Future’s defamatory tweets, a quick check on Future’s timeline reveals that after today’s court session, he deleted the negative tweets directed at Ciara.
