Singer Iyanya Finally Path Ways With Long Time Manager & Business Partner Ubi Franklin

Last night, Iyanya took to Instagram to announce that he is no longer under Ubi Franklin’s management, despite claims by the duo that they are cool.

On Monday night, the Triple MG co-owner announced he has signed a deal with Temple Management Company an emerging management company who recently signed on the entire Mavin records roaster, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Funmi Iyanda and this post Iyanya officially fires Ubi Franklin as his manager announces new team..

“Dear Fans, I am pleased to announce that i have signed on with Temple Management Company,” the singer wrote yesterday, adding, “About a year ago, Ubi and I discussed options to diversify our business interests and creative visions and we both agreed that we would explore all avenues open to us.”

Recall that rumours of discord between them made the rounds on social media days ago after Iyanya announced that he will be floating a new record label. While Iyanya attempted to shut it down, calling the rumours ‘lies’, adding that Ubi’s wife, Lilian Esoro, was a good cook, his partner claimed they were cool.

However, one wonders why he fired Ubi as his manager since he could still maintain the management relationship, like the agreement Lil Kesh has with Olamide’s YBNL.

“With both @thetemplecompany, and the new album, I am now embarking in a new direction which will not only bring you the same quality, verve and energy that you have become accustomed to, it will take things to the next level,” Iyanya says now, adding that Ubi will only now remain his ‘brother’.
