African Superstar Dbanj Signs International Record Deal With Priority Records.

African superstar Dbanj also known as Bangalee signs a Distribution deal with an American based Record Label 'Priority Records' . Dbanj is one of the few Nigerians that actually started the move towards bridging the gap between African and Western Music. His effort has gone a long way in projecting and putting Africa on the map. According to the press release, all African Artist under his CREAM Digital platform will automatically be exposed to international deals tailored towards the growth and distribution of African Music to the world. Priority Records is an American based Record Label that has worked with Major Labels like Roc-A- Fella, Death Row Records, No Limit Records & Wu- Tang Records. They have also worked with international Artist like Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Jay Z & Master P. Congratulations to the superstar on this one, this is definitely another great moves for the growth of African Music.

The Government & The Entertainment Industry

The Federal Government recently placed a ban on the shooting of music videos and movies abroad, The news didn't go down well with some celebrities. Some of the entertainers took to their social media pages to rant and show their distaste about the recent decree by the government. Yes it is true that the economy of the country is bad and the government are to be blamed for not keeping to their promises. I also won't blame the citizens for ranting and pouring out their heart  about the situation of the country. The only problem now is Nigerians have made it  a very big habit of complaining and depending excessively on the government for virtually everything. What happened to we trying our best in our own little way to make the country better, create employments and stop ranting and complaining too much of the lack of support from the government. We are getting to addicted to that habit of complaining and that blind folds us from seeing the positive side of everything. I perso...
