After the success he enjoyed with Holla at your boy, he never slowed down, he kept growing, breaking boundaries, Jumping on international collaborations, winning both local and international awards. Wizkid got signed to Sony in 2016 and later signed a multi- album deal with RCA their subsidiary on the 1st of March 2017 and also released his project 'Sounds from the other side' EP under the RCA inprint. The talented Artist expressed himself through his body of work, he showed his level of artistry and versatility on the EP. That body of work placed Wizkid on a certain level above his peers, got him more international collaborations, more award nominations and placed him on the billboard chart. Wizkid is an Artist that cannot be boxed into a particular genre of music as he is creative enough to find his balance on any kind of song he features on.
Burnaboy is another extremely talented Nigerian Artist with high power of art and extremely very skillful with the way he writes and records his songs. Since after the debut of his song 'Like to party' signed under Aristokrat Records he has never stopped to amaze us with his unique vocals and delivery on any song he finds himself. Burnaboy has a way of infusing Afro and Dance hall vibe into his content, thereby making it unique. He has created a sound that has an international market value, a kind of sound that cuts across and connects to a wider range of audience. He is currently signed to Island Record a subsidiary of Universal Music . You cannot mention the name Burnaboy without linking it to controversy. He is known as a controversial Artist with the way he speaks his mind via his music, social media posts and interactions. He is hated by most of the industry players but extremely loved by fans and his content is on a high demand thereby making it very hard for some of the industry players to pin him down.
