General Buhari Gets Sworn In As The New Nigerian President

Finally the day the entire Nigerian nation await is here. General Buhari gets sworn in as the new Nigerian President, the inauguration took place in Abuja today being the 29th of May 2015, present in the occasion where a lot ex-presidents, presidents from other nations, ministers, commissioners and top government officials. In the inauguration today below are the words of the president.


''  I am immensely grateful to God Who Has preserved us to witness this day and this occasion. Today marks a triumph for Nigeria and an occasion to celebrate her freedom and cherish her democracy. Nigerians have shown their commitment to democracy and are determined to entrench its culture. Our journey has not been easy but thanks to the determination of our people and strong support from friends abroad we have today a truly democratically elected government in place.

Also during his speech at the inauguration today, he used the opportunity to congratulate the ex-president Goodluck jonathan for conceiding defeat, he also went further to promise that his administration will do all their best to fight Boko Haram and bring back the Chibok girls.

We the entire Jam Afrique team congratulate Gen Buhari on his new appointment as the president of Nigeria and we are hoping his administration helps improve the Nigerian economy and also fight corruption
