Rihanna’s Sneakers Helped PUMA Earn $975 Million In 2015

According to Bloomberg Business, Puma’s 2015 fourth quarter earned a massive $975 million in sales, raising figures 17.1 percent from the year prior.

So we can say, Puma’s decision to name Rihanna women’s creative director has paid off in a big way.

The company was only projected to do $943 million.

According to the brand, the sales surge is due in large part to its sneaker collaborations with Rihanna, and Puma CEO Bjoern Gulden added that Rihanna “can sell sneakers and Puma is onto something here which we haven’t seen yet in the women’s area.”

Let’s not forget Puma just signed Kylie Jenner! Between Rih & Kylie, the brand is set for an incredible year.
