Rapper Tyga Denies Claims That Kanye West’s Music Deal Was a Kardashian Gift

Tyga wants to be taken seriously as a rapper but the internet won’t let him be great because of his connection with the Kardashian clan.

Yesterday, we reported that Kanye West signed the ‘Stimulated’ rapper to his GOOD Music label and not long after, the internet erupted with memes and claims that this was a favour to the Kardashians.

But the rapper denies this.

According to TMZ, sources close to both Kanye and Tyga say that the signing was a strictly business decision and not because he is dating Kylie Jenner.

Here’s what TMZ says:

“Kanye doesn’t take on ANY artist or project he doesn’t believe in personally.

Plus, there’s a genuine friendship between them — we’re told ‘Ye and Tyga started teaming up way before Kylie was in the picture. In fact, [he]was with Blac Chyna when they started, and that’s how she and Kim became friends.

We’re told Tyga’s been hitting the studio a lot with Kanye lately, and will be featured on the G.O.O.D. Music album, “Cruel Winter,” which is supposed to drop next year.”
