Review On Don Jazzy And Iyanya Affiliation

The Nigerian music industry woke up to the news of former Made Men Music act 'Iyanya' signing under Don Jazzy's imprint Mavin Records. To some people it was a great news, while others think it's a wrong move for Iyanya

I am giving a big shout out to the whole team behind the Mavin and Iyanya affiliation, for keeping the information away from the press and general public. Today marks the  30th birthday of the singer and the release of his new collaboration with Don jazzy and Dr Sid. He was celebrated by his fans, well wishers and even his former partner and CEO of MMMG 'Ubi Franklin' . He was asked on different news platforms about what he feels about the new move for Iyanya, and he simply said, that he knows Iyanya is happy about the decision and he is in support and he wishes him all the best in life and he doesn't feel betrayed about his movement into a competing Record Label.

Record Label is a business that involves good networking and heavy financial power to be able to move or take an artist or a brand to the next level. Iyanya is already a house hold name in Nigeria and what he needs now is a Label that can carport his brand to the next level. Therefore i don't think it's a bad idea he joined the Mavins. Also lets not forget that Mavin is  one of biggest record labels in Africa. Iyanya is a professional artist with experience, therefore he knows what he wants and what he signed up for. Don Jazzy and Iyanya already have a good chemistry, judging from their previous release together 'Gift' that was well accepted by music lovers. I strongly believe something great will come out of this union, because Don is a creative mind and one of the biggest producers in Africa, his directions will definitely put Iyanya's brand and sound in a whole new level. Lets keep our fingers crossed and experience greatness....
